St Albans Ladies were held to a frustrating 1-1 draw with Horsham in the National League.
For the second week running, St Albans created numerous chances in front of goal but failed to take them.
Horsham scored first in the ninth minute and St Albans equalised through some great attacking play by Sammie Archer with Claire Beattie slamming in the loose ball.
St Albans then dominated the game with 11 short corners and plenty of attacks by Megan Crowson, Rosie MacPherson, Kerri Lendon and Katie Hockley but none of them could find the winner.
Meanwhile, the men’s Sevenths continued their impressive start to the season with a 1-0 win at Royston.
The young boys started well and debutant Aaron Yick impressed in the early stages. The side had a number of short corners but were unable to convert them into goals until a freakish effort from Malcolm Emmerson gave them the advantage just after half-time.
With Ben Hemsi, Scott Angel, Charlie Pritchard, Michael Voigt and Callum Emmerson all holding strong, St Albans managed to pick up the win.
