After 30 competitive matches Barmond United have at last picked up their first three pointer in the North & Mid Herts League winning 4-3 away to Buntingford Cougars in a very even contest.
Buntingford were in front 2-1 at half time, but allowed Barmond to equalise and score the winner with eight minutes remaining.
Their goals came from Barry Hensman, Gary Hilliard, Haydn Essam, and Sam Parchment.
Scorers for Buntingford were Sam Deville, Jake Skinner, and Charlie Allen.
FC Cornerstone travelled to previously unbeaten St Ippolyts and came away with a convincing 5-2 win as the home side faded in the second half.
Scorers for Cornerstone were Carl Dudley (2), Dave Holland, Sam Harwood, and Kyle Watson.
Dave Pateman scored both goals for beaten St Ippolyts. Efforts from Ahmed Elbasyouni, Allan Johnston, and John Malone gave Warriors XI a 3-0 away win at FC Letchworth.
City Hearts were unable to raise a side and conceded the match to AFC Baldock.
