St Albans Rangers Under-11s Red eased to a 7-0 win over Harvesters.

Rangers recorded their first win of the season producing an impressive team performance. A Jack Kerr corner beat the keeper at his far post. Tom Scott then was played in on goal by David Brinkley and he slotted home for 2-0. Louis Shaw set up Scott for their third goal.

Amjad headed in the fourth before Kerr found the target. Another dangerous corner resulted in another goal before man-of-the-match Kerr completed the scoring.

The U-8s started with a 6-4 loss to Alexandra Park North in a thoroughly entertaining match.

Park took the lead with a scrappy finish and they soon doubled the lead. Archie replied for Rangers but they went in trailing 3-1.

The second half saw Rangers immediately reduce the deficit to one goal when Connor did well to find Archie in the box to finish only to then slip further behind once again.

Rangers’ third goal came when Billy got on the end of a goal-kick and ran through unchallenged to score. The fourth goal was reward for a hard working Jack in the centre of midfield and he did well to lob the advancing keeper.

Rangers U-9s Red lost 3-1 to Borehamwood 2000. Bailey Shipp scored for Rangers after great work with Jude Denton, but Borehamwood equalised before half time. The second half was very closely fought with Borehamwood scoring two late goals to take the points.

Rangers U-10 Reds ran out 3-0 winners against Enfield Rangers.

A first-half brace from Matthew Mooney and a well-taken free-kick from Bradley Young five minutes before the end put the game beyond the visitors.

The U-10s Blue lost 7-1 to Oakhill Tiger Sharks. Rangers rallied scored a consolation goal through man-of-the-match Robbie Wallace following great team play. Rangers U-11s Blue recorded their biggest ever win with a stunning 18-0 victory against Olympiacos Youth White.

Goals came from Haydn Tominey-Smith (six), Joshua Alpert (five) Henry Rabbitt (two), Stanley Maisey, Lee Rostron, Daniel George and a brace from the excellent Sam Woolnough.

The U-13s lost 5-1 to a strong Bushey & Oxhey side. Yassingave them the lead but the opposition turned the game around.

Rangers U-14 Reds had a great start to the game against Edmonton Rangers missing two chances within the first five minutes. A goal from Ben Scott could not change the result as they were eventually beaten 7-1.

The U-16 Reds secured a deserved 4-2 win over Pinnacle with goals from Nick Baker, Sonny Disspain, Brendon Katurura and Callum Moriarty. Orrin Adae-Mensah was man-of-the-match for his superb defending.

Rangers U-18s earned a 5-3 win over Brady Maccabi.

After falling behind, Connor McGrath levelled the score with a trademark free-kick and James Plummer put the home side in front halfway through the first half.

Brady were quick to pounce on any errors and led 3-2 at the break. McGrath levelled things up before man-of-the-match midfielder Mickey Shuttlewood put Rangers in front once more.

There was a nerve shredding final few minutes before McGrath completed his hat-trick.
