Residents are invited to come along and have their say on how Harpenden Town Centre can be improved.
Members of the Harpenden Society have been looking at how Harpenden Town Centre could be improved for the benefit of all members of the community.
Residents and businesses are invited to the public meeting to learn about plans to reinforce the town's identity, enliven the High Street, improve the quality of community facilities and better access.
Tim Riley, Director of RCKa Architects, will present the proposals, where he has identified nine sites in the High Street for possible development.
There will also be a chance to debate over the future of the Public Hall and offer suggestions for shopping facilities, a ‘Park Café’ in Rothamsted Park and parking.
The meeting, Suggestions for a Harpenden Town Centre Community Plan, will take place on Thursday October, 25 in Park Hall, Leyton Road at 7:30pm until 9:30pm.
