Firefighters were called to an industrial estate in London Colney this morning after a building filled with smoke.
Following a 999 call at about 10.15am crews from St Albans and Borehamwood rushed to the DHL building in Riverside Industrial Estate.
A faulty engine from a sprinkler system burst away from the wall and filled the building with smoke.
Two firefighters entered the unit wearing breathing apparatus and turned off the engine.
No one was inside at the time.
Crews remained at the scene until just after 11am.
