Firefighters were called to St Albans City Hospital this morning after burnt toast set off a fire alarm.
Crews rushed the Waverly Road hospital at 7am this morning.
A member of staff had been cooking in the kitchen in the Langton Ward when the smoke set off the fire alarm.
