when she was approached by three offenders. They threatened her to hand over her phone but she managed to get away.
The second incident occurred on the same day at 9.05pm. In this case the victim, a 19 year old man, was also on a bike when he was approached by three men. He was threatened and hit to the face before one of the offenders took his phone. They then made off towards Woodhall shops. The victim sustained minor injuries to his face.
Anyone who was in the Woodhall Lane area on September 19th and saw either of the incidents or saw three suspects acting suspiciously is asked to contact Detective Constable Beverley Larman via the Herts Police non – emergency number 101 quoting crime reference number B1/12/2663 or B1/12/2650. Alternatively call Crimestoppers, the independent charity, anonymously on 0800 555 111.
Three men have been arrested in connection with the incidents.
