Workmen replace some paviors after checking underground pipe runs
Sir,
I thought you may be interested to know that some builders were working between ASDA and the ex Bill Salmon Centre this afternoon.
Apparently they were checking the direction of underground electric cable carrying pipes that appeared to run through the ex Bill Salmon Centre site.
Through talking to other shoppers, it seems that these pipes may have to be redirected before the new buildings can be started there.
If so, this seems rediculous as these investigative works should have happened years ago. I really hope that we're not in for yet another delay!
