Youngsters are invited to enjoy spooky goings-on on the dancefloor with free Halloween dance camps in St Albans this autumn.

In a bid to get more children active, Popdance Kids, based in St Albans, will be running two Halloween Camps during half term, one of which will be free.

Children between the ages of five and 11 will be invited to come along in their half term and learn dance routines to to Halloween-themed pop songs such as Thriller, as well as Halloween-themed games and acitvities.

Sue Wybrow, founder of Popdance Kids and Popdance, said: "It’s great to be able to provide these camps for children so they can be active over the half term break."

The dance camps, held from 9am to 3.15pm, will take place at Prae Wood Primary School, in King Harry Lane, on Wednesday, October 31, and in London Colney Leisure Centre on Thursday, November 1.

The camp in London Colney will be free for youngsters, funded by Active St Albans, in partnership with Leisure Connection and St Albans District Council.
