A 23-year-old man from Flamstead has been charged with two counts of assault after allegedly attacking two police officers.
Paramedics called police in Linnins Pond at about 4.15pm on Wednesday, following concerns for the welfare of the offender.
Police said they alerted to the address as paramedics were seeking to treat the man, but he became agitated.
After allegedly assaulting two officers, he was detained by police and taken to Watford General Hospital.
Following treatment he was taken into custody and has since been charged with two counts of assault.
