A CCTV image of a man police would like to speak to in connection with a theft in Harpenden has been released.
Two men entered the BP garage in Luton Road at about 4.20pm on Thursday, August 30.
One of the men went to buy cigarettes at the till and as he complained about being given the wrong change the other man took a container of oil from the shop.
PSCO Paul Fletcher, from the Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: "We would like to speak to the man in this photograph as he may have witnessed the incident or have information that can help our investigation.
"If you recognise this man or believe that it is you, please contact police as soon as possible."
Anyone with information should contact Hertfordshire Constabulary on the non-emergency number 101 or by calling Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
