On Saturday on 29th September at 10.30am a plaque will be unveiled to mark on Hatfield's world renown importance in aviation history by the Airfields of Britain Conservation Trust.
ABCT state, The Memorial will be situated to the west of Hatfield town near the Hatfield Business Park on the east side of Ellenbrook Fields. The map below shows you the new development and where the memorial is to be sited. Coming from St Albans Road West (A1057) take Mosquito Way to the David Lloyd Leisure centre, which is the former de Havilland hangar and control tower. From here turn left and follow the road down to the end of the new development. Please note that parking is not encouraged in this particular housing area but you will be able to walk to the memorial from the end of this road.
