Residents will have another opportunity to find out more about controversial plans to expand Luton Airport at a consultation exhibition on Wednesday.

The district council has requested for an extra meeting to be held in Town Hall in Market Place following requests from members of the public.

Consultations were held across the district, including Harpenden and Wheathampsted, earlier this year.

Councillor Teresa Heritage , portfolio holder for planning and conservation at the council, said: "This is a good opportunity for local people to find out more about the airport’s proposals, ask questions and comment."

The exhibition, which is open to everyone, will run from 3pm until 8pm.
