Youngsters from a school in St Albans are continuing to fly the Olympics flag today (Friday) with a visit from a triple jump athlete.
St Bernadette Catholic Primary School in Walsingham Way, is delighted to welcome Kola Adedoyin, European Champion 2011 triple jumper to their school.
He will put pupils and staff through their paces at the event today (Friday) which marks the schools ‘Sports Legacy Day’.
The day will raise money for the school and Sports for Schools, an organisation dedicated to enabling young promising athletes to train and receive financial assistance to compete at the highest level possible in their sport.
An assembly will also feature a talk, question and answer session and sporting demonstration by Kola.
