Firefighters rescued a trapped kitten today in St Albans.
The kitten had crawled behind a wall cavity at a house in Newgate Close around 8.10am this morning.
Firefighters used a thermal imaging camera to find the kitten, which had become stuck, and took around an hour removing kitchen cabinets and units to save it.
The owner was said to be very grateful and relieved because "the kitten was her only companion".
