Enjoying Later Life I wonder how you feel about being past middle age, whatever that is ? I must say that I am enjoying later life even as a widow, as age is no barrier to living life to the full. I don’t believe we are on the downwards slope to ill health and death. I believe we can continue to embrace joy and a measure of fitness of body and mind. Also, we can actually look forward to the next life, after our body has worn out. It’s as though this life is just the prologue to the play, coming next.
So I’ve written a book, published this week, called ENJOYING LATER LIFE. I am quite excited about it as it’s years since my last books were published.
Pam Rhodes has been kind enough to read it and said that she thinks it’s superb.“.... a beguiling mixture of practical advice and spiritual celebration.”
It’s available on Kindle now, and apparently the other weekend, when the publishers were allowed to let anyone download it free, 352 people in the States did just that, as well as a lot in Britain.
You’ll smile at the mature lady riding the unicycle on the red and orange cover, but I address all sorts of issues, amusing and serious, including how to get rid of old mental baggage that weighs us down .
Read my blog at elspethjackman.blogspot .com or at www.facebook.com/elspethjackman. It’s published by onwardsandupwardspublishers and the paperback will be £7.99 Go on, enjoy your later life
