A Radlett PCSO has been nominated as one of the best officers in the county by the Hertfordshire Police Authority.
Iain Boyd was nominated for being “highly visible” and “popular, friendly and down-to-earth”.
Having won the Hertsmere heats of the PCSO of the Year Award 2011, Mr Boyd goes through to the final, where he will be ranked among other borough winners in the county.
Nominations for the awards are made by members of the public and fellow police officers.
The heat winners will be presented with a certificate at the safer neighbourhood awards ceremony, on Tuesday, May 24, and a county winner will be selected on the night.
