A 37-year-old charged with murdering a Hatfield man will make his second court appearance tomorrow.
Richard Clare was arrested and charged yesterday with the murder Peter McConnell of Fern Dells.
Police made a break through in their missing persons investigations following the disappearance of 43-year-old Mr McConnell more than a month ago.
Although the body of the Hatfield resident has not been found officers say they had substantial evidence to charge Mr Clare and remand him in custody.
He will appear at St Albans Crown Court tomorrow to enter his plea.
Over the last two days specialist investigations teams, including forensics, have been searching the Fern Dells property.
