FIVE men were arrested at a house in Hatfield and drugs were seized following a suspected attack last week.
The ambulance service alerted police to an incident outside the Asda in Hatfield town centre just after midnight on Friday, December 4, where a man had suffered facial injuries.
Following this officers were then deployed to an address in Featherdell, where the men were arrested.
A 30-year-old man from Hatfield was arrested on suspicion of supplying heroin. He was bailed by police until February.
A 19-year-old man from London was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply cannabis and was cautioned.
Three others arrested - two 20-year-old men from London and a 27-year-old man from Welwyn Garden City - were released without charge.
Hertfordshire Constabulary says it is led to believe the injured man and the arrested are known to each other.
