THREE rings of sentimental value were stolen during a burglary from a pensioner's Essendon home last week.
Thieves broke into the property at around 11am on Wednesday, December 2 while the owner was away on holiday.
Two Black and Decker drills, one battery powered and the other by mains, along with two gold rings belonging to a man - one with the initials RLG on the top and another with a black square face were stolen.
Investigator Julie Fewings said: “Obviously the owner is very upset by what has happened and we are appealing to anyone who may have been offered any of this stolen property to get in touch.
“The ring obviously have great sentimental value.”
