St Albans welcomes a new go-karting venue, utilising augmented reality to create a "Mariokart-like" experience.
BattleKart has parked in St Albans and is here to stay, with a multitude of virtual games shifting the traditional racing experience.
From Paris to Dubai to St Albans, BattleKart has branches across the globe and has opened its newest centre at 4 Brick Knoll Park.
Attendees can expect to pay up to £24 per game for a "thrilling" virtual experience immersing players in a range of games.
St Albans branch manager, Djibril Fofana: "BattleKart is an exciting new entertainment experience, blending the thrill of go-karting with immersive augmented reality to create a one-of-a-kind racing experience.
"Our goal is to offer something fun and engaging for everyone, whether you're with family, friends or colleagues.
"We're excited to bring BattleKart to St Albans, and we believe it will be a perfect addition to the local entertainment scene, offering a unique activity for people of all ages."

BattleKart St Albans is open from noon to 10pm Monday to Tuesday, noon to - midnight, Friday to Saturday, and 10am to 9pm on Sundays.
