Two crashes have occurred on the same St Albans road this morning, causing a road closure.
Around 7.48am, police were alerted to multiple damage-only collisions on Coopers Green Lane leading to delays.
A spokesperson for Herts police said: "One collision involved a black Seat Ibiza and a black Nissan Micra and on the other side of the road, there was another road traffic collision involving a black Volkswagen Up and a white Vauxhall Corsa."
"We urge motorists to drive with caution in the icy conditions," a spokesperson added.
