A crash in St Albans has left one motorist hospitalised this morning.
Herts police were called to a road traffic collision in Cell Barnes Lane at around 9.40am.
The crash involved a black Yamaha scooter and a white Toyota Corolla.
An East of England Ambulance Service spokesman said: "An ambulance and a rapid response vehicle were sent to the scene.
"One patient, an adult male, was transported to Watford General Hospital for further care."
While on the scene officers were diverting traffic between Camp Road and Drakes Drive in both direction, however the road has since reopened, as confirmed by Sullivan buses.
Route 84 - Cell Barnes Lane has reopened, so the buses are following the normal route.
