A police incident at St Albans City train station led to major disruption this afternoon.
Herts police have since confirmed the arrest of a man who was discovered on the tracks - preventing services from running.
A spokesperson added: "Police were called at 12.07pm today to St Albans City train station where they arrested a man on suspicion of obstructing the railway.
"The man has been taken to custody."
According to Thameslink "All lines" were blocked at St Albans City around midday today.
