Developers of a proposed 500-strong housing scheme in Harpenden will be on hand to answer residents' questions at an exhibition event next week.

Crest Nicholson will host the exhibition at the All Saints Church Hall in Harpenden on Wednesday (November 13) between 4pm and 8pm.

Attendees will be able to view an exhibit of proposals for up to 500 new homes north east of Lower Luton Road.

The site is within the Green Belt, but is allocated in the draft St Albans Local Plan currently being consulted upon.

Members of the development team will be present to answer questions from residents.

If approved, the site would offer a range of family homes from two to five bedrooms, as well as one and two-bedroom apartments.

The development will have 40 per cent affordable housing, in a combination of affordable rent and shared ownership.
