A 31-year-old man has been sentenced after pleading guilty to assault by beating of a police officer in Hemel Hempstead.
Following a hearing at Hatfield Magistrates' Court on Friday (April 26), Jonathan Coles will pay £372 in total, for three separate offences.
Firstly, on April 7, Coles caused criminal damage to the rear windscreen wiper of a blue Ford Focus.
The man, of no fixed address, was ordered to pay compensation of £17 and a fine of £40 for this offence.
The following day, Coles assaulted a police constable by beating. He was fined £180 and ordered to pay compensation of £50 for this crime.
Lastly, on Tuesday (April 23), he failed to surrender to police or court bail at the appointed time, having been released on bail earlier this month.
