The St Albans Crokinole Open and Doubles Championship will take place at Chiswell Green Community Centre in Chiswell Green, tomorrow (Saturday, December 2).
The first ever UK-based doubles championship will take place, as the city participates in the UK Crokinole Tour 2023.
The event is being run by Mike Ray, a St Albans resident and member of the national committee, and has completely sold out.
The first event in the tour took place in Scotland in August, and a second was held in Wales on September 23.
After St Albans, the tour will visit Harrogate, Nottingham and Birmingham.
The tour's website states: "The members of Crokinole UK have a love for Crokinole as both a game and a sport.
"We are captivated by its unique blend of skill, strategy, and friendly competition.
