A vulnerable man in his 70s had his money stolen in St Albans sparking police to warn of similar reports in the area.
The money was taken from his backpack when he was on St Peter’s Street on Wednesday, March 16, between 11:50am and 12pm.
Today (April 22) police released CCTV images of people who might be able to help them with enquires.
Sergeant Mark Williams, from the St Albans Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “We believe those pictured were in the area at the time of the incident and we are keen to speak to them because they could have important information.
“If you recognise them, or have information yourself, please get in touch.
“I would also like to urge residents to stay vigilant as there has been other similar reports in the area.
