A motorist was allegedly "punched to the ground" during a three-man fight that shut part of the M25 this week.
Police have appealed for witnesses after the brawl by the eastbound slip road for junction 23 (South Mimms) left a man with life-changing injuries.
Following the fight on Monday (April 4) at 3.30pm - which caused queues back to junction 21 for the M1 - a man was arrested on suspicion of GBH.
He has been released under investigation as enquiries continue.

Officers have now asked motorists who may have dash cam footage of a white Audi A3 and a white Ford Transit van travelling in the area at the time to come forward.
Investigator Kay Leverton, from the Hertsmere Local Crime Unit, said: “Enquiries are continuing at this time to establish the circumstances around what happened.
“As part of this, we are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, or the events leading up to it and hasn’t yet spoken to police, to please get in touch.”
