Police made two arrests after it was reported that people were behaving suspiciously inside a Natwest bank in St Albans.
Hertfordshire Constabulary were called to the branch in St Peters Street on Wednesday, January 19.
It was alleged that two people were attempting to distract a man who had been using the cash point at around 11.15am.
Officers stopped two people matching the description given in Chequer Street shortly after 11.30am
They were arrested in connection with the incident and taken to police custody.
Both have since been released on police bail.
