A pub recently reopened its doors following a major refurbishment, revealing an impressive new look to the St Albans local.
The Three Horseshoes, in Hatfield Road, has undergone a large refurbishment and the pub hopes that the new look is a welcome change in St Albans.
Natasha Talbot, general manager at The Three Horseshoes, said: "We wanted the new look to provide guests with a cosy pub where they can enjoy dinner, have a few drinks after their busy day or simply to relax with their four-legged friends and read the Sunday paper.
“The Three Horseshoes has been part of the St Albans community for years and is full of history.
“At the back of the pub, there used to be a large wooden building known to locals as ‘The Hut’ which was used by the British legion and Royal Antedeluvian Order of Buffaloes as a social meeting place.
“We hope that added features such as new bar tables, colour scheme and furnishings, will be loved by all of our guests, both regulars and first-timers.”
