A grandmother has been selected to compete in the finals of the Miss British Isles 2020/21 model competition.
Rosanna Cioffi, 52, will be representing St Albans in the Classic category at the event at Chester Racecourse this week.
A panel of judges will see 50 candidates in each of the categories, who will be be asked to showcase themselves and talk about their hobbies and passions.
Rosanna Cioffi, who has lived in St Albans all of her life, says she is "over the moon" to have reached this stage.

The finals would have taken place last year but were postponed because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Speaking ahead of the long-awaited event in Chester, Rosanna said: "I'd never have thought I'd be in this situation and I'm over the moon and excited to have reached this stage.
"I've run two businesses with my husbands but I'd love to make a career of this."
If Rosanna wins the title there are over £10,000 worth of prizes to include modelling contracts, photoshoots in Spain and Gibraltar, a portfolio of various shoots throughout the year and the Miss British Isles Crown.
Previous winners of the Miss British Isles event have been signed by top modelling agencies and have taken part in major TV shows.
