Two teenagers have been arrested after a 15-year-old boy was beaten up by 10 teenagers in a park.
Police had issued CCTV images of two people they believed were in the park at the time and may have had information that could have helped.
The victim was with his friends in Verulamium Park, St Albans, on June 14 when the group repeatedly punched and kicked him in the head while filming it.
He was left with cuts and bruises and had cash and credit cards stolen.
Youngsters often go to the park via the Abbey Line, which connects Watford Junction to St Albans Abbey.
Officers have today confirmed a 15-year-old boy from Hemel Hempstead has been arrested on suspicion of assault, theft and fraud by false representation in connection with the incident.
He has also been further arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and possession of a class B drug (cannabis).
A 16-year-old boy from Croxley Green has been arrested on suspicion of assault, theft and fraud by false representation in connection with the incident.
Both boys were arrested on Saturday (17 July) and are currently on police bail with strict conditions not to enter St Albans.
