*Story updated: Police have since found the two people and asked us to remove the CCTV images
A teenager was left injuries when he was attacked in St Albans.
Hertfordshire Constabulary says a 15-year-old boy had been punched and kicked whilst he was in Verulamium Park around 4.30pm on Monday, June 14.
He was left with cuts and bruises.
Police have now launched an appeal over the assault and have released a CCTV image of two people who they think might be able to help their enquiries.
PC John Cooper, who is investigating, said: “We believe the two people pictured were in the park at the time of the incident and they could have vital information that will help our enquiries.
“Do you recognise them? If you do, or you have other information that might help, please call the non-emergency number 101 or email me at john.cooper@herts.police.uk quoting crime reference 41/44419/21.”
