A rotary group welcomed the Honduras ambassador to St Albans for a small tour of the city.
Ivan Romero-Martinez and his wife Miriam visited St Albans Cathedral and the town hall before his day in the city ended with some traditional South American dancing at the St Albans Rotary International Annual Dinner.
Ambassador Romero was greeted by Conservative councillor Claudio Duran and his wife Clare, before being taken to the cathedral in Verulamium Park where they met The Very Reverend Dr Jeffrey John John, and Stephen Potter who took the group on a guided tour of the building.
The Romeros' tour of the city then took them to the renovated town hall in St Peter's Street for a look around St Albans City Museum + Gallery.

There they were met by Cllr Duran's colleague Cllr Annie Brewster.
The tour took them into the prison cells and ended with team in the courtroom.
Woollam Playing Fields, the home of St Albans Rotary Club, was the final destination for the special guests.
Mayor of St Albans, Cllr Janet Smith, and the president of the St Albans Rotary International Committee, Wendy Howson, were on hand to welcome the Romeros.
After some dinner, performers fro, the the Organisation of Latinamerican Artists in the UK took to the stage for a colourful display of dancing from Mexico, Bolivia, Paraguay, and Chile.
Mr Romero also gave a speech where the thanked the rotarians for their hospitality and praised them for the work they do help those in need around the world.
Romero has served as a diplomat since 1971, including as Secretary of State in Honduras. He became the Ambassador to the UK in 2008.
