An author from St Albans has been shortlisted for the Romantic Novelists’ Association’s prestigious 2020 Romantic Novel Awards.

Lesley Eames is one of five finalists in the Romantic Saga Award category with her novel The Brighton Guest House Girls.

The RNA’s awards are the only national literary prizes that recognise excellence in the genre of romantic fiction. The Association celebrates its 60th anniversary this year and the awards will be presented by Jenny Eclair during a ceremony in London on March 2.

In Lesley’s novel, three women forge an unbreakable friendship through adversity.
