Cuteness is coming this February half-term to Willows Activity Farm’s February Frolics event near St Albans between Saturday, February 15, to Sunday, February 23.
Visitors will be able to witness the arrival of adorable new lambs as the farm’s pregnant ewes prepare to give birth to just under 100 lambs over the course of the nine days.
Supervised by Tuck the Shepherd, the knowledgeable livestock team at Willows will be on hand throughout the half-term week to teach all guests about the lambing process and answer any questions.
Kids will also marvel at the opportunity to watch the lambs be bottle-fed, and can enjoy making some beautiful creations in the arts and crafts marquee.
Kevin McIllmurray, General Manager at Willows, said: “There is always lots of fun on the farm in February half-term, and this year is no exception. We hope our new packed programme will encourage guests to come and visit the ‘Cutest Event of the Year’!
“We are particularly lucky at Willows to have such a knowledgeable livestock team who love helping the little ones learn all about lambing.”
This year, special guest Little Bo Peep has lost her sheep, and will be starring in a brand-new show to find her flock. Peter Rabbit and friends will also be holding daily meet-and-greets for children to enjoy.
In addition to a jam-packed programme of half-term entertainment there is also plenty of weather-proof fun at Willows in the indoor soft play barn.
