A primary school in St Albans may expand to include 30 more places.
St Peter's Primary School in Riverside Road, St Albans, may be expanded to include 30 additional school places from September 2020, in response to demands for more primary school places.
Hertfordshire County Council is currently seeking people's views on this proposal.
This latest proposal is in addition to the £250million already approved since 2010 to provide more than 19,000 more places, both permanent and temporary, in both primary and secondary school.
Cllr Terry Douris, who is responsible for education, said: "We are committed to making sure that every child in Hertfordshire has a place at one of our great schools so they can reach their full potential.
"That means ensuring the right number of school places in the best location. We will continue to invest money to ensure that where the county’s population grows we build the appropriate infrastructure."
