Police are looking to reunite suspected stolen goods with their owners.
Hertfordshire Constabulary was called on the evening of February 8 to Wynches Farm Drive reports of a man acting suspiciously around cars in the street.
A fishing knife, pair of sunglasses, a charger lead and a USB cable were recovered.
Kane Dixon, 22, of Russet Drive, St Albans, has been charged with one count of vehicle interference.
He was released on bail and is next due to appear at St Albans Magistrates Court on February 27.
Investigator Stuart Murray has called on people who believe an item could belong to them to contact police.
