A driver has crashed into the Argos store in St Albans.
Police were called to Spencer Street at 9.35am to reports of a two-car crash.
A lady driving a Ford Transit van hit a parked Volkswagen Caddy which smashed into the shop.
Paramedics treated a lady who had suffered an arm injury and she was discharged at the scene.
Jade Hall, speaking on behalf of Argos said: "We can confirm that there was an incident outside our store on Spencer Street, St Albans, this morning involving a reversing car.
"No customers were injured in the incident and we have temporarily ceased trading to ensure the building is safe for our customers before reopening."
Tracy Harvey, head of planning at St Albans District Council, said: “One of our Building Control officers has carried out a visit and a number of actions have been discussed with the store manager.”
The shop remains closed.
