- Six families were evacuated from their homes to a leisure centre and 58 are now without gas, water or electricity.
- The gaping hole - which is 30ft wide - demolished a wall, affected three gardens and left cars trapped in driveways.
- There is now no way out for residents and the council has warned it could be 'weeks' before things return to normal.
