A car on fire in Hill End Lane was attended by a crew from St Albans Fire Station early this morning.
At 3.25am the crew attended the incident after a Volkswagen Polo’s engine was found alight by residents.
The fire was quickly extinguished using a hose reel and is being treated as a vehicle defect and accidental.
