Firefighters were called to a smoke logged house in St Albans this afternoon.
A crew from St Albans were called at 1.10pm to the semi detached house in Vesta Avenue.
Unattended cooking was the source of the smoke and one woman was treated on the scene for smoke inhalation.
The incident is being treated as accidental.
