St Albans workers find it hard to let go of travel stress and have a productive day, according to new research.
In a survey carried out by Regus, nearly half of the districts professionals asked identified travel related grievances, such as traffic jams and road works, as productivity killers to their working day.
Other prominent distractions included inbound cold calls, lengthy meetings and dealing with long drives to meetings.
Richard Morris, UK CEO, Regus, said: "Having the option to work from different locations can be enormously beneficial for many professionals – not least by helping them to avoid arduous commutes.
"However, the challenge is in finding the right environment outside of the office to allow people to remain just as, if not more so, productive."
