A motorcyclist from St Albans said he had a "lucky escape" after a car accident last night.
Lee Wesley was travelling home on the A414 when he was knocked off his bike by a car crossing lanes at the A1001 and A414 intersection in Hatfield.
The 31-year-old had been travelling on his Kymco Super8 from work in Welwyn Garden City to his home in King Harry Lane.
Mr Wesley said: "My main concern is that there is no cameras at that roundabout.
"I travel that way home from work everyday. It is a very dangerous roundabout and I have been close to having accidents before."
Police and ambulance said they were called at 10.24pm to the accident in Roehyde Way involving the Kymco Super8 and a grey Toyota.
Mr Wesley added: "I hope this will make other road users pay more attention to the roads and motorbike riders around them.
"The accident has left me, my wife and children all very shaken I am grateful and feel lucky I was able to walk away with minor injuries.
"With my wife expecting my sixth child it has been both stressful and eye opening leaving me and my family feeling that more needs to be done to raise awareness of bikes on the road.
"We also need more CCTV cameras in place to protect all other road users on all junctions and crossings.
"I will continue to ride my motorbike but this has made me more aware of the danger of car drivers not paying attention while driving."
