Firefighters were called to a small fire in the open in St Albans on Saturday.
The crew from St Albans were called at 4.08pm to the fire in the centre of a wood in Toulmin Drive.
The blaze was extinguished using back pack sprayers.
The fire is being treated as deliberate or doubtful but is not being investigated.
