Caroline Jones has raised more than £8,000 in three months with a unique fundraising challenge to wear a new charity shop outfit every day this year in honour of her late mother who died of breast cancer.
The 46-year-old from Harpenden is raising money in memory of her mother Mary Benson, who passed away in October.
Caroline will wear only "pre-loved" clothes for the whole of 2015 - with a new outfit every day from the Cancer Research UK shop in Harpenden's High Street where her mother volunteered for 13 years.
Below is Caroline's outfit of the week:
To find anything pre-loved from the Queen of anti-establishment, Dame Vivienne Westwood, is the moment you punch the charity shop air and hope that a) it's definitely on sale, b) you have remembered your purse and c) you're not dreaming.
Luckily for me this beautiful, relaxed style cardigan with neon orange 'shoe lace' belt from her 'Anglomania' range really was on sale (Marylebone High Street CRUK store) and I was tapping my pin number into the credit card machine quicker than you could say 'punk rocker'.
Day 91 is therefore my favourite outfit of the week, which fell on April 1, a busy day in my tomfoolery calendar.
I teamed the cardigan with my turned up, loose fitting denim trousers and pirate-esque ankle boots, giving a very slight nod to the eighties.
Dame Viv I salute you, you manage to take the ordinary and make it extraordinary.
Outfit: Vivienne Westwood 'Anglomania' cardigan, Next shirt, Armand Ventilo trousers, Bertie ankle boots, vintage earrings all Cancer Research UK finds. Knickers model's own.
