Mental health social worker Kate Linhart got on her bike to promote the launch of the Care Act last Wednesday.
Ms Linhart, who is a keen cyclist and triathlete, covered 85 miles visiting nine trust NHS trust sites across Hertfordshire, including Waverley Road in St Albans.
The Tour de Care highlights the biggest changes in adult social care in the past 60 years, including more patient centred services, putting carers on the same footing as those they care for and changing personal budgets so people can receive them as direct payments.
