Larry the Lamb, an eight month Shetland sheep, was the star turn at this year’s annual community carol concert in St Albans.
St Stephen Parish Council’s held their 15th Annual Carol Concert at Greenwood Park on Sunday, December 7.
Deputy Mayor of St Albans Councillor Janet Churchard and St Albans MP Anne Main joined members of the community, accompanied by Watford Brass Band and a mixed choir from local churches, for a concert of traditional carols and entertainment provided by How Wood, Mount Pleasant Lane and Park Street Schools.
A bucket collection made at the end of the event raised £446 for Dementia UK.
The concert was organised by the councillors of St Stephen Parish Council and who were ably assisted by the choirmaster, Ian La Riviere, the 220 St. Albans Squadron Air Training Corps, Salsa Mish and the Parish Council staff. The lamb was supplied by one of the parish residents, Penny Farmer.
