A biscuit company in St Albans has raised more than £11,000 for Children in Need this year.
Employees at Burton’s Biscuit Company have raised the money through a combination of fundraising days and volunteering commitments, with the VIP team tackling Ben Nevis in less than eighteen hours earlier in the year.
Numerous sporting events have also taken place throughout the year to raise money for the charity, including golf, netball and football tournaments, a mud run challenge and a 26-mile overnight walk.
Stuart Wilson, chief commercial officer at Burton’s Biscuit Company, said: "It’s fantastic to see all our employees rally behind Children in Need and get stuck into fundraising this year.
"As a business, we have managed to raise £36,000 for this worthwhile charity, and I am very proud of the team for all of their hard work over the past year."
